We hope you will come and join us for worship on Sunday. Below we have answered some general questions about our worship service. Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
When and where is your church service?
Our chuch service is held every Sunday at 10:15 am and runs for approximately an hour and a half. We meet at Heritage Neighborhood Center in Fontana, which is located at 7350 West Liberty Parkway (between the 15 Freeway and Cherry Avenue, and just south of Baseline Avenue).
How should I dress?
At Summit Bible Church, we focus on the heart more than on the outward appearance. Those in attendance attempt to dress in a way that does not draw attention to themselves, because we want the focus to be on Jesus Christ alone. When you come to our Sunday service, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles, from very casual to business casual. Most people find themselves somewhere in the middle.
What is available for my children?
We provide childcare during our worship service for children up to five years old. Children under three years old are cared for in one room, and children from three to five years old are cared for in another. Their time includes singing, a Bible story, activities, and snacks. As for children 1st–6th grade, they remain with their parents for the first part of the worship service and are then dismissed to Children's Church just before the sermon. Children 1st–3rd grade go to one room, and children 4th–6th go to another room. In both of these rooms, the children hear a message from the Bible that they can understand and participate in fun activities that reinforce the Bible lesson. You also have the option to keep your children with you during the entire worship service, if that is what you would prefer. Because we take the safety of children very seriously, we prescreen all of our adult workers and have them go through a background check. It is the joy of everyone serving in our children's ministry to minister to your children by teaching them from the Bible about God and about the gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ.
