We hope you will come and join us for worship on Sunday. Below we have answered some general questions about our worship service. Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
When and where is your worship service?
Our worship service is held on Sunday mornings from 10:00–11:30 at Heritage Neighborhood Center (7350 W Liberty Parkway, Fontana, California).
What is available for my children?
We provide childcare during our entire worship service for children 1–5 years old. During this time, the children are taught a lesson from the Bible that they can understand and participate in fun activities that reinforce the lesson. Starting at 9:45 on Sunday mornings, parents can sign their children in and drop them off in the childcare room before service begins.
Beginning Sunday, August 1st, we will provide a Bible class time during the sermon for children 1st–3rd grade. Before service, parents will be able to check in with the teacher scheduled for that morning and sign their 1st–3rd grade children in. Their children will remain with them during the first part of the service and will then be dismissed to their class just before the sermon.
It is our intention to provide a nursery (a childcare room for children up to 2 years old) as soon as possible and to have our other childcare room be for children 3–5 years old. It is also our intention to provide a Bible class time for children 4th–6th grade. As soon as we have enough people signed up and equipped to serve, we will work to implement these ministries.
Please note that because the safety of the children in our care is of the utmost importance, all of our adult childcare workers have been approved to serve only after undergoing a formal application process and being subject to an enhanced nationwide criminal and sex offender search.
How should I dress?
At Summit Bible Church, we focus on the heart more than on the outward appearance. Those in attendance attempt to dress in a way that does not draw attention to themselves, because we want the focus to be on Jesus Christ alone. When you come to our Sunday service, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles, from very casual to business casual. Most people find themselves somewhere in the middle.
